About Me: Hi there I am updating this. I originally started this blog as therapy because my dad had a massive head injury in 2005 (see 1st post). I gave up a lot of my life to help take care of him 24/7, especially while my mom was going through chemo for breast cancer. In order to stay home I started North Star Map Creations, where I create maps for people, mostly professors. I also work for the AZ Geog Alliance. My dad died in April of 2007, and I can now say that grief is THE hardest emotion. My parents have a mini-farm and I have a cute 1960's house with 1950's appliances. I have a dog who has early heart failure and that is really hard, and 3 cats. I like to eat organic and be "green" and I like to sew, do photography, and most of all write... More l8r.
